2:00 AM at my house...

With the arrival of crisp Autumn air, pumpkins, and cornstalks come the beginning of the busiest time of year for Waddell Creek Rustics.  In the next three months we will be hosting or participating in 6 or 7 shows, and though it's enough to drive anyone insane, I  thrive on the madness.  It's a sickness of mine.

After I tuck the wee ones in bed, and get some quality snuggle time with my Man, I turn the house into crafting chaos .  The walls become lined with signs and magnet boards, our tiny kitchen table is converted into a painting/drying/sanding/vinyl applying station, and the mantle gets stocked with the "out-of-reach-kid-untouchables" (you know, things that are potential weapons to a two year old...).

So if you're in the neighborhood at 2 or 3 am, stop on by...just make sure to bring a paint brush!

***Oh, have you guys seen Glee? I just started watching it tonight and am totally hooked...brings me back to my choir days.  Man, I want to sing again!!

I can remember making 'stuffed geese' in the wee hours of the morning. They were a hit in the
80's. So I guess you come by it naturally. Sorry.

You are amazing, Jill. Once my kids are in bed and I've had some time with Jonny, I am ready to call it a night at 9:30!

You make such cute decorations. I hope to one day visit Washington and go into the store and look around at everything you've done. So crafty! You know I've never heard you sing?... Crazy!

Those were the good ol days eh? Or are now the good ol days? ( I would say now, we need to organize some kind of has-been singers choir and go to disney land.) I can't believe that oven story and all your others- you have one exciting life :) You are so talented miss jill! crafty crafty!

Looks like fun :) I'd come help, but you're not very close to where I live. I always craft after Maggie goes to bed too :)

You go girly! I thought that was so cute how you said that you "thrive" on the "madness". I am happy for you that you are enjoying your life so much! I really enjoy reading your blog. Never a boring moment at your house!

Cute stuff! I see things like that around here and think of you. I like your stuff better and know for sure that they are homemade.

I watch Glee too! I missed part of the first episode, but Wednesday's cracked me up. Especially when the football team started dancing! Tyler had the song stuck in his head all night and woke up in the morning with it stuck in his head too.

SO, when can I come buy your stuff? It's to cute to pass up on!

I'm totally obsessed with Glee! Although, it's gotten pretty racy since the first episode!!! But I like it. In fact, I watch each episode a couple times before I delete it on DVR!!

Oooh, I love crafty wood projects! Just wish CHAD liked 'em as much as I do. He's at his limit of "country knick knacks." But your stuff is super cute and I'll have to come check it out sometime!!
