2 happy kids = 1 happy mom

My sweet children decided to test me tonight by being as rotten as possible while their daddy was away at work. As I was battling skinned knees, tear stained faces, and pinches (yeah, jack has picked up pinching when he gets upset. annoying) I thought "hmm, if I was 20 months old and ornery as all get out, what would make me happy?" So I started the bath tub, added some bubbles, and plopped my little angel down to play to his hearts content. All the sudden he perked up, and so did bianca(there is some law of the universe that says when one child is a pill the other must act up as well, just so you all know). The evening ended with TWO clean kids in bed at an ever so early 9 pm and ONE happy mom who aced her test. sweet.

A+ for sure! I hope that if I have two unhappy kids I am as patient as you.

You win the best mom award!! They are so cute! Amazing how their smiles make everything that happened earlier seem so insignificant huh?!?

When Myles is being a pill he gets a bath too! I love baths! He will play for a good 45 minutes! (and soak the entire bathroom floor!) I don't know how you do two babies! I am terrified!

What a great example you are to me. I hope I have that kind of patience with two kids. I love you children, they put a smile on my face every time!

What? They are so big! Where did all that time go? Hey, thanks for the advice, I scoped it out, and I have a UPS right down the street. You are awesome.

What funny little ones. A good bath seems to fix attitudes for kids and adults alike. There's some magic about it. I love those little cheeser smiles, just like their mommy.

And about the post below, I, someone who used to be able to use 2 gallons of cream and 7 lbs. of butter without batting an eye, am even a little shocked about that amount of butter for one cake. But I'm sure I'd have a big piece anyway. It looks delicious.

Hey Jill, it's Janessa. I found your blog and was really excited because I haven't kept in touch very well...okay so not at all. Jonathan and I are expecting our first around October 3. Your kids are cute! You can view our blog at http://happyfarmandranchfamily.blogspot.com/ and then maybe we can keep in touch better:-)

I love reading your posts! You are such a cute mom. I am going to try to remember some of your tricks when I have kids and want to pull my hair out. haha! Hey I ran into Shaylee who said she did your hair the other day. She said you were cute--I was like yep I know!
