see, I will prove it:
Just kidding, we really aren't literally sitting around waiting for the clouds to clear up, otherwise I think we will be waiting until June. I just wanted to have a reason to post that cute picture of Jack sucking on his fingers and Bianca looking especially rolly-poley...man I love that chub.
I thought I would let you all know what the springer family has REALLY been up to the last few months...because we have had A LOT of changes around here.
so, here it is:
1. Scott landed a great permanent job for the Department of Labor and Industry as an auditor. To make a long job description short, he is the guy going around to businesses and busting them for being dishonest in their insurance reporting. He likes it, but it's really just another little stop along the way to where ever. He also continues to deliver pizza (yes, I said deliver pizza. You would be shocked at the amount of tips he brings in every night) 3 or 4 nights a week...we are trying to quickly get rid of those blasted student loans we have looming over us.
2. We have moved out of Scott's parents house. PHEW. I love his parents, and they know that, but you can only live with parents so long before you want to rip your hair out. I was really just longing for my own space. We live in a beautifully small apartment with an amazing backyard that has trees, grass, and mossy rocks to climb...the epitome of Washington's beauty and the perfect place for a curious two year old. Pictures to come soon.
3. Since Christmas I have been training with my sister-in-laws for a half marathon. I am not a runner, at least I didn't think I was. I basically started from nothing and have slowly worked my way up to about 3 or 4 miles a day. I have actually grown to love running. That "runners high" people talk about is a real thing...almost an addiction. I work out 5 days a week, not because I am obsessed with losing that last few pounds, but because for 20 bucks a month I can throw my kids in the clean, safe daycare at the gym for a couple of hours a day. They have slides, toys, movies, and giant climbing blocks...it's the perfect place for two active little kiddos to get their wiggles out while it's pouring down rain outside.
Oh, and it keeps me sane. I am not ashamed to admit that I need a break from my little darlings everyday.
4. Jack and Bianca are growing up incredibly fast. Bianca is finally toddling around and jack is a constant ball of fire who spends ALL day spouting off his colors, numbers, letters and animals. He is hilarious.
And everyday is growing to be more and more like his daddy...
freaky, I know.
Well, there you have it folks...things around here aren't too exciting, but definitely exciting enough for our little family.
Stay tuned for a craft update later this week!

I love your little update Jill. Good job on the training for a half, man I have tried running and have NEVER got that runners high, I seriously just HATE it!! Can you send your love for it my way, sheesh! And congrats to your hubby on his job and moving into your own place, very cool! Your kids are so darling by the way!
What a hard-working guy. I'm so happy for you and your own apartment.
And btw, my mom always said that if she didn't get her morning run, she'd definitely go insane. No shame in saying you need a break, and the endorphins don't hurt either.
I TOTALLY agree with you on the Runners High! At first it is not so fun, but then when you are done running you feel SO good!
The first time I ran just over 3 miles, without stopping, I did it at like 5:30 am. It was amazing! I ran home and felt SO GREAT all day! I loved it! I totally need to do it again. It is hard to run around here with 2-6 feet on the ground, but Spring is just around the corner (maybe another month or two) and I will be all over it!
That sounds great! Pizza business here aint goin so well! ha, Trav got into a wreck and they are being super lame about it. Let's just kick him while he's down, right Dominos? But yes, delivering pizza is a really great way to pay down debt!
Way to go on the job and new apartment. Your kids are so cute.
Cute babies!! Love your update.
3-4 miles a day? I'm impressed. I'm not sure I could even do a quarter mile right now :) Your kids are sure cute! Keep up the good work.
Congrats on the job! And that's great news about your apartment too. I am sure it is SO nice to have your own place.
I am totally impressed with your running habits, but a little jealous. I can't wait to get running again this summer. Whenever you come around to visit, let me know in advance so I can see if there are any 5ks!
Congrats on the new job! Congrats on your own place (I'm still w/ my parents...) I am so impressed with your running! Inspiring me to get off my bum and get moving.
if you come back this summer to UT I'd like to get together!
Sounds like you guys are doing so well. I so happy for you guys. It sounds like you need to take a brake from the rain and head down to Utah for some fun with the Taits...and your family too of course ;)
I can't wait to see picture of your new apartment. Way to go on the running. I bet you look fabulous--you always do. I still can't believe how quickly you were able to loose the weight after bianca and jack.
Those are such cute pictures and Jack is totally going to look like Scotty. I am glad that you were able to get a place of your own.
What a darling update Jill. I love the pic of your two adorable children. Also, Congrats to your hubby for his new job! Your new place sounds great! Also...running? WOW! Maybe you will need to let me in on how you worked up to 3 or 4 miles a day. That is great! Your kids are darling! Also? I'm excited for your craft post!
