"Um, Jill...does Jackson know how to get out of his bed?" I heard her say from inside his room.
"Not that I know of..."
"Well you better come see this!"
Then from the room I hear a little voice say "I stuck, I stuck"
The poor kid didn't even know what he had gotten himself into when he swung his feet over the edge of the crib. Notice how he is looking down, unsure of what's beneath him.
So he just sat there, in a pickle, not knowing what to do. (that is the reason I was able to capture this on film...the kid was terrified.)
I guess now we should get him a toddler bed before he is actually brave enough to let go and we find ourselves in the emergency room.
I'm not going to lie, I have been dreading the day that Jack makes the switch to the toddler bed. Not because I am sad to see my little guy grow up (heaven forbid I get sentimental about this), but because I love that I can stick him in his crib and I know that he is contained in a 5x3 foot safety box. I'm afraid that without the crib to keep him out of trouble, he will wreak all sorts of havoc in his room at night.
Let the adventures, and the clean up begin!

Oh my. That IS scary. It's so funny that he's adventurous enough to try things, but still too little and scared to finish them. Kids are the best. Good luck with the new sleeping quarters. I'm sure he'll love it.
Ya, good thing you noticed this right away! When I was nannying I told the parents they needed to get the kid a different bed because he was climbing out and they didn't believe me! I had to sit in his room for a month and a half straight during his naps because I was afraid he would fall on his head!
And yes, a new bed is going to be an adventure that is FOR SURE! haha, have fun, and let us know all the funny stuff he does with his new found freedom! I love that kid Jill!
That is hilarious! What a cute kid. Let me know how the transition goes.
Good luck. Just kidding it really isn't that bad. Kaden didn't have a hard time making the transition...we just have problems now getting him to sleep. That's pretty funny how he got stuck there.
What a little monkey!! I do miss my Jack!!
Uh oh. Yeah it looks like he's grown from his crib. I'd be worried for the same reason too, but probably after a little getting used to, he'll be fine.
Yeah Twilight was okay. I think because I heard mixed reviews, I went in not expecting much, so it was better than I thought. I do agree about Edward, though. I don't know if it was his accent or what, but I think there could've been a better choice.
People are doing well at work. I have today off, so I haven't been in since Thanksgiving. I'll be sure to tell everyone hi for you.
And yes.. my title is from Annie. Haha.
Yikes! He definitely IS stuck. Good luck with the big boy bed, let me know how it goes!
Ah the joys of little boys growing up. I can't wait to see if your little girl follows him. Then you will have to worry about two of them getting into trouble. I still can't believe how time has gone by.
Oh Jill that is a classic picture. haha Good luck!
